What is SavingHunt?
SavingHunt is a reader-supported personal-finance and lifestyle publication. We publish researched, fact-checked guides on saving money, investing, career and income, credit and debt, insurance and planning, and lifestyle topics like fashion, beauty, and wellness.
Who writes the articles?
A small editorial team plus a handful of regular contributors. You can read short bios on our Meet the Team page. Every article has a named author and goes through an independent editorial review before publication.
How does SavingHunt make money?
Through affiliate commissions. When a reader clicks a link to a product or service we recommend and completes a qualifying action, the merchant may pay us a small commission. The reader pays the same price either way. Our Affiliate Disclosure has the full story.
Are the recommendations objective?
Yes. We select what to cover based on what we think will help readers, not which company pays the highest commission rate. Our Editorial Standards page documents the research and review process.
Is the advice on SavingHunt personalised?
No. Our articles are educational and cover situations in general terms. They are not a substitute for personalised advice from a regulated financial advisor. For decisions that materially affect your finances, please consult one.
How do I sign up for the newsletter?
Use the newsletter form at the bottom of any article, on the homepage, or in the sidebar. We send one digest per week, usually on Friday. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
How do I report a correction?
Email us via the contact page with the article title and the specific claim you're flagging. Corrections are noted at the top of the affected article.
Can I republish a SavingHunt article?
Short quotes and links are welcome — no need to ask. Republishing more than that requires written permission. Please contact us first.
Do you accept guest posts?
Generally no. We work with a small group of vetted contributors. We do consider exceptional one-off pitches from established practitioners; if that's you, mention your background in the email.
How do I get in touch?
Through our contact page. We aim to reply within two business days.
