2015 was an exciting year for my travels! I started out in Panama City, figuring out the most efficient way to reach Cartagena. It was a whirlwind of exploration, new experiences, and reconnecting with friends. My first five months took me across South America, where I journeyed by bus from Ushuaia, the southernmost city, all the way to Cusco, Peru. Here are my top 10 snapshots from this memorable year:

1. Torres del Paine
I spent two months in Patagonia kicking off the year, with five days dedicated to hiking the challenging “W” circuit at Torres del Paine in Chile. This was my toughest hike yet, carrying both my camera and camping gear. The final stretch to the three towers was grueling, but the breathtaking view was worth every step.

Meet Alfred, my adventurous gnome! I’ve captured him across five continents over six years. Our adventure began at K-mart in Sydney, and his whimsical charm led to the creation of funny gnome cards, which I later sold on Etsy. If a tiny green gnome can explore the world, so can you!
