Maven Clinic is committed to enhancing women's healthcare access at every life stage.

Ensuring women can obtain quality and affordable healthcare is crucial. From conception to IVF inquiries, egg freezing, and navigating peri and postmenopausal transitions, specialized care must be readily available. This need inspired the creation of Maven Clinic, a virtual platform that operates 24/7, offering resources and referrals for fertility, family planning, pregnancy, postpartum health, adoption, surrogacy, parenting, and menopause.

Kate Ryder founded Maven after observing her friends struggle with the challenges of parenthood and the lack of support beyond parental leave, which often leaves new parents to tackle an overwhelming journey alone.

“While working at a venture capital firm in London, I analyzed numerous early-stage digital health companies and noticed a significant gap in women's healthcare. The industry is dominated by female consumers,” Ryder explains. “I realized there was no greater challenge for me than to improve healthcare access in women's and family health, as it impacts not just individuals but the very foundation of society and the healthcare system.”

Ryder also identified the particular difficulties faced by first-time mothers. A survey by Mom’s First revealed that a third of new moms contemplated leaving their jobs after childbirth, and 75% felt their workplaces could offer more support for working parents. “Pregnancy demands don’t cease once the baby arrives. Postpartum care and reintegrating into the workforce present significant hurdles,” she notes. “This gap in support often forces women to make difficult decisions they’d prefer to avoid.”

Maven Clinic collaborates with companies like Amazon and Sofi to ensure women receive necessary healthcare from pre-conception through post-menopause.
