I'm thrilled to announce the launch of my first book, Good With Money, today!
This book tackles a question I frequently get: “How can you afford to travel so often?” Good With Money narrates my experiences and outlines the financial habits that have enabled me to travel continuously for nearly a decade, all while maintaining an average income of $30,000 and staying debt-free.
I began this blog in 2014 to assist fellow travelers and share my insights. However, a blog can only cover so much. I realized it was time to compile a comprehensive resource, which is why I dedicated this year to writing the book. Though the concept had been brewing for years, I only started writing in January. I crafted this book while traveling from Buenos Aires to Easter Island and beyond to the Galapagos, making references to these locations throughout.
Divided into three sections, the book emphasizes reshaping priorities, enhancing savings, and reducing travel costs. The first part addresses my overall financial philosophy and savings strategies. The second dives into essential money hacks that focus on everyday expenses, like cutting medical bills, funding college without debt, making the most of coupons, and selling items you no longer need. Lastly, I share my top travel hacks.
